KENNEDALE -- Georgie Ruth Bond, 87, of Kennedale passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016.
Funeral Service 2 p.m. Friday at First Bible Baptist Church in Kennedale.
Interment at Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thurdsay at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Georgie was in the Civil Air Patrol at the age of 15 where she acquired fly hours. She was a hard working wife and mother who was an overachiever in everything she did. Georgie was a long time member of First Bible Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School and teaching English at Trinity Valley Baptist Seminary.
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth G. Bond; sisters, Delories Theresa Paul, and Margaret Lee Skinner.
Survived by her children, Laura, Kenny L., Rocky Bond, and Dee Dee Martinez; Cousin, Billie Marilyn Flannery; nephew, Roy Lee Hudson Jr.; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends
