Alfredo Guzman

Alfredo Guzman, age 53, died peacefully holding his granddaughter Ciara Nyomi Moreno on Monday, July 18, 2022 at his home in Haltom City, Texas after a courageous battle with liver cancer.

Alfredo was born on December 17, 1968 in Stockton, California to Celestino Guzman and Anita Mercado.

Alfredo grew up in Wasco, California.  He began to work for a insulation company where he learned how to be a insulator in the State of Idaho.  Alfredo established his own insulation company here in Fort Worth, Texas.  He had over twenty years of experience.  Alfredo was happily married to Gema Guzman who was his partner in life for 36 together and 31 years married at the time of his death.

Alfredo is survived by his wife, Gema Guzman; daughters, Roxane Guzman and husband Ernesto Maldonado and Alyssa Guzman and husband Jose Moreno; siblings, Celestino Guzman, Rita Guzman, Antonio Guzman, Adan Guzman, Virginia Guzman, Eva Guzman; grandchildren, Josiah Maldonado, Ciara Moreno, and Isaiah Maldonado.

Funeral service for Alfredo will be held Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 5:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home (500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060).  Graveside committal service will be Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:00AM at Emerald Hills Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060).  The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 10:00AM-5:00PM.
