Alice Elizabeth Kelley, 82, passed away on 24 March 2025 at The Waterford on Cooper in Arlington Texas. She was born on November 28th, 1942, in Fort Smith Arkansas to Jean Harris.
Alice grew up in Fort Smith Arkansas. She graduated from Fort Smith High in Fort Smith Arkansas in 1960. After high school she worked for Target in the cash office where she worked for 10 years. She then worked for Sam’s Club as a greeter where she worked until she retired in 2000. Alice was involved in First Baptist Church of Burleson.
Alice married Kenneth Kelley on September 4th, 1964, in Fort Smith. They were happily married for 54 years. Alice volunteered as a clown to bring cheer to patients at Cooks Children’s Hospital.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Ken, her Son-in-Law Randy Chambers, her granddaughter Kelley Chambers and her brother Harris Painter.
Alice is survived by her son Todd Kelley (Krystal Kelley) and her daughter, Chantel Chambers, both of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Chase Chambers and Hannah Kelley; and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills on Tuesday, April 8th. The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 4:00 to 7:00. A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills at 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd., Kennedale, TX 76060 at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9th. Burial will follow at the national cemetery.
