Alverta "Bert" Cooley, 77, passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle with pneumonia Monday, Nov. 30, 2009.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Bert decided it was time to be with her husband, Robert F. Cooley, inside the Lord's house. She was loved by many, lived a full life and was definitely one of a kind. She never took no for an answer but a kinder, gentler woman you will never meet.
Survivors: Sons, Bob and Connie Cooley and Richie and Michelle Cooley; daughter, Robyn and Randy Roberson; stepdaughter, Debbie and Carl Adcock; grandchildren, Wesley "Punkin," Reed, Brooklyn, Kaylee, Ryan, Lindsay and Casey; brother, Clyde and Dorothy Gibson; and a host of other family and friends.
