Arcelia Navarro

Arcelia Sánchez Navarro also known as “Chelita and mamita,” 82, passed away on the 8th of September, 2022 at Las Brisas Healthcare and Rehab in Irving, TX. She was born on July 11, 1940 in a small town in Guanajuato, México to Salvador Sánchez and Eleazar Navarro.

Arcelia grew up in Cuerámaro and León, Guanajuato, México. In 1972 she immigrated to Dallas, TX and worked in different occupations throughout her life. The most important “career” and the one she loved the most was taking care of her family. She never married and did not have children of her own, but she dedicated her life in serving others. She was her parent’s “backbone,” and never left their side until their death.

On August 1, 2015 she gave her life to Christ and was baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin and eternal life.

Arcelia was preceded in death by her parents (Salvador and Eleazar Sanchez) siblings (Jose Luis, Manuela, Alfredo, Alfonso, and Arturo)

Arcelia is survived by her sisters, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and other relatives.

On behalf of my aunt, Chelita, I want to extend our gratitude to everyone involved in her care. Thank you for your love, dedication, prayers, hugs, laughs, and good times. You will always be in our hearts!

It is not a goodbye, but a farewell until we see you again!

Arcelia Sánchez Navarro mejor conocida come “Chelita y mamita” por su familia y amigos, 82, falleció el 8 de septiembre de 2022 en Las Brisas Healthcare and Rehab in Irving, TX. Ella nació el 11 de julio de 1940 en Cuerámaro, Guanajuato, México a Salvador Sánchez y Eleazar Navarro.

Arcelia creció en Cuerámaro y años después su familia se mudó a León, Guanajuato, México. En 1972, ella inmigró a Dallas, TX y tuvo varios trabajaos distintos durante el curso de su vida. Su carrera profesional más importante de su vida fue cuidar de su familia. Ella nunca se casó ni tuvo hijos propios, pero dedico su vida a servir a otros. Ella fue el respaldo para sus padres, nunca se separó de ellos hasta que fallecieron.

El 1ro de agosto del 2015 ella entrego su vida a Cristo y fue bautizada en el nombre de Jesús para el perdón de sus pecados y recibir vida eterna.

Ella fue precedida en muerte por sus padres (Salvador e Eleazar Sánchez) sus hermanos (José Luis, Manuela, Alfredo, Alfonso, y Arturo)

Ella es sobrevivida por sus hermanas, hijas de corazón, sobrinas, sobrinos y otros parientes.

De parte de mi tía Chelita, quiero extender nuestra gratitud a todos los que estuvieron envueltos en los cuidados de ella. Gracias por su amor, dedicación, oraciones,  abrazos, risas, y buenos momentos. ¡Siempre los llevaremos en nuestros corazones!

¡No es un adiós, sino un hasta luego hasta que nos volvamos a ver!
