Arlie Bell Flusche, a longtime resident of the Arlington area, passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Arlie was born March 11, 1926, in Gainesville. She spent the vast majority of her life caring for her family, whom she loved unconditionally and without question. The words "Mom" and "Grandma" are far too small to describe what she meant to all the lives she touched, and she was an inspiration to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Flusche, with whom she spent 54 loving years before he passed away in 1997.
