Arnold Dean Horton, 81, passed away in Fort Worth, Texas. Arnold was born on July 16, 1933 to Gordon and Lillian Horton in Hinton, Oklahoma. Throughout his life, Arnold had a “can do” attitude despite being blind at age 14. He could do anything that he put his mind to, from building sheds to working on autos or lawnmowers. Arnold never complained about anything and never talked bad about anyone. He was a loving and gentle man with a caring heart and an excellent memory. Arnold enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Washington Redskins. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vernon and his first wife, Mary.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Horton; sons, Kenneth Horton Sr. and his wife Delvon, Paul Horton; step-children, Rhonda, Shila and Billy; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Wayne Horton and his wife Carolyn, Waymond Horton and his wife, Glenda; sister, Pauline Bashaw and her husband Wesley; and numerous other family members and friends.
