Barry Fredrick Ables, of Crowley, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019.  He was born on March 21, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to Lawrence D. Ables and Serena Yvonne (Morgan) Ables.  Barry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was an avid outdoorsman, a tinkerer, and a fixer of all things.  His family loved him dearly.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry Ables.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Christi Ables; children, Justin Ables-Hensel and husband Will Ables-Hensel, Matthew Ables and wife Sara Ables-Allen, Kayden Ables, Amy McElroy and husband Nicholas, April Mancilla and husband Andreas; grandchildren, Emma, Alex, Aerianna, Zachary, Bethany, and Aidan.

Funeral service for Barry will be Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00AM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale with interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.  Following interment the family will host a reception celebrating Barry’s at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 6:00-8:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
