Bennie Mae Fox, 93, of Arlington passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Funeral Mass: 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield. Interment: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery in Denison.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fort Worth Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
Bennie was a farm girl at heart who was known for her cooking, especially her candy, pies and other sweets. She was a great seamstress and could make anything. Bennie graduated valedictorian of her high school class at St. Xavier Academy and was the Mardi gras beauty queen. She lived most of her life in Denison working in banking for the majority of her career. Bennie moved to Arlington in 1997 to be close to family. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
Bennie was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Joseph Fox; daughters, Priscilla Jo Fox, Vera Marie Fox Brown; brothers, Monty Hogue, James Hogue and sister, Vera Belle Henson.
Survivors: son, Michael J. Fox and wife, DeBeca; daughter, Alicia Fox Holland and her significant other, Domingo Carvajal and several grandchildren / great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
