ARLINGTON -- Betty Jo Smith 80, of Arlington Passed away Feb.21,2008. Graveside service; 10 am Saturday Feb 23,2008 at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.She had also been a long time resident of Goldsmith,TX. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family,gardening,canning fresh foods,knitting and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Roy Charley Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Roy and Kathy Smith of Arlington and Dan and Sharon Smith of Mesquite; grandsons, Russell Casey Smith and Jerrell Glenn Smith, sisters, Beatrice Schneider and Sarah Lyles, brother Bill Ward. along with a host of other family and friends.
