KENNEDALE -- Betty Lorene Hughes Meek Myers Stover went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Kennedale. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Betty's wish was to donate to lung cancer research. Donations will be accepted at First Baptist Church of Kennedale, Bisbee Baptist in Mansfield, and Garden Acres Baptist Church in Burleson. Make checks out to the UT Southwestern Lung Cancer Research Center in Memory of Betty Stover.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter M. Hughes and Annie Corrine Foster; husbands, Gary Meek and Ward Myers; eldest son, Steve Meek; stepson, Don Myers; and grandson, David Myers.
Survivors: Her husband of 16 years, Ronald Stover Sr.; brother, David Hughes and wife, Patricia; sons, Mike Meek and wife, Frankie, Roger Meek and wife, Karen, Terry Meek and wife, Juli; daughters, Donna Jones and husband, Tommy, Susie Toole and husband, Jamie; stepchildren, Ted Myers, Linda Sims, Ronald Stover Jr., Chris Stover, Ann Flores and Tammberly Stover; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
