Bettye Lucile Wallace

Bettye Wallace, 94, passed away on February 8, 2024, at Home in Chandler, Tx. She was born on October 26th, 1929, in Fort Worth, Tx to Albert & Lucille Zabel.

Bettye grew up in Fort Worth, Tx. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in Ft. Worth, Tx. in 1946. After High School she attended Harris Hospital College of Nursing in Ft. Worth, Tx. where she received a RN diploma/certificate as an Obstetrics Nurse.

Bettye married Raymond Wallace in 1951 in Ft. Worth, Tx. They were happily married for 45 years. 

Bettye was preceded in death by her father (Albert) and Mom (Lucile), Sister (Rowena) & (Charlene) & Husband (Raymond) & Son in Law (Don Chancelor) & Granddaughter (Sharee Chancelor).

Bettye is survived by her sons (Jerry & wife Sarah), & (Kris & wife Helen) her daughter ( Kim Chancelor) &  6 grandchildren ( Rusty, Kirby, Konnor, Klayton, Wendy & Jeff ), and 15 Great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd Kennedale, Tx 76060 at 12:30pm, Thursday, February 15, 2024. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
