Billy Ray Burns "Bill", 64, of Burleson passed away, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
A Celebration of Bill's life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 in Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Kennedale.
Bill was a very loving father, son, brother and uncle and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and traveling and basically anything to do with being on the water.
Memorials: Donations can be made to the American Lung Association in Bill's memory.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty J. Burns; maternal grandparents, Mable and Roy Pewitt; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Mable Burns; niece, Carie Ybarra and her husband Ben.
Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his father, William Burns; sons, Brian Burns and wife Nioka, Jason Burns, Austin Burns; sister, Linda Kennedy and husband Jerry and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
