AZLE -- Billy Joe Hall, 78, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel, 500 Sublett Road in Kennedale. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Billy served in the U.S. Navy until 1952, when he was discharged. He enjoyed his work as a plumber and backhoe operator. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary, and a son, who died at birth.
Survivors: Wife, Evelyn Hall; children, Loretta King, Machelle Houston and LaFonda Hall; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dianne Wysinger; and numerous other family members and friends.
