Billy Rollins

Billy Joe Rollins, Sr. of Cleburne, Texas passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2020.

Billy was born on October 27, 1948 in Fairfield, Texas to Joe and Jewell Rollins.  He married Sandy Robinson on September 28, 1968.

Billy was a family man who served his country honorably in Vietnam.  Billy earned the rank of Sergeant, as well as a Bronze Star before being honorably discharged in 1978.  He loved fishing and hunting, and he was an avid outdoorsman.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Jewell Rollins; brothers, Joe Clem, Johnny Bohannon, Freddy Lee, and Richard Wayne; eldest son, Billy Rollins, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Lily Rollins.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandy Rollins; son, Mike Rollins and wife Shannon; daughter, Kristy Rollins; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Keadle, Glenda Sue Rollins, Mary Jane and Delores Barrington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
