Bobby Rhodes

Our precious Husband, Daddy, Poppy, brother, and friend to all passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. He was 78. Born September 7, 1944, in Hope, Arkansas, to JT and Jean Rhodes. After moving to Forest Hills Bobby grew up and graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1962. Bobby enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1965 and served until 1971. He met and married the love of his life, Loyce Ann Collings on July 8, 1966, who was right by his side 56 years later when he left this world. Bobby was hired by LTV Aircraft Company in 1967 and retired after 33 years in September 1999. Bobby is survived by his wife, Ann, children Shelley Mefford and son-in-law Todd, son Jeff Rhodes and daughter-in-law Laura, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Rita Jean Panzera.

Bobby's memorial service will be Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Garden in Kennedale, Texas.
