Brenda A. Valenzuela, 64, of Little Elm passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017.
Funeral Service: 12 p.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday an hour prior to the service.
Memorials: Donations can be made to the any of the Margarita Society's aimed at benefiting children's charities.
Brenda was born in Vernon, Texas to Alton T. Todd and Billie Jo on August 20, 1953. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister who was loved by all and had no enemies. Brenda earned her Masters degree and was a Director of Head Start. She loved children and giving back to the community any chance she had. Another big part of Brenda's life was church where she sang and played almost every musical instrument they had. She was also a pastor's wife and a song writer.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Alton T. Todd and Billie Jo Todd Valenzuela; husband, David Valenzuela and sister, Diane Davis.
Survivors: Daughter, Dionna Valenzuela and husband Arthur Hernandez; son, David A. Valenzuela and wife Gabriela; grandchildren, Breanna Solis and Britin Alice Valenzuela.
