Carl E. Brickey Jr., 79, our Dad, joined our Mom in heaven June 5, 2010, on their 56th wedding anniversary surrounded by his family.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Carl Brickey Jr. was a U.S. Army veteran with the rank of private first class.
The family would like to thank the staff of Covenant Hospice for their devoted care of Mr. Brickey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Merle Brickey, in 2001.
Survivors: Daughters, Charlotte Steele, Renee Tijerina, Pam Stotts; son, Leslie Brickey; grandchildren, Jayson, Rusty, Dusty, Derrick, Gilbert, James, Randy, Crystal, Jon, Kevin, Walter, Pat, and Chris; great-grandchildren, Naythan, Jayde, Cais, Greyson, Calia, Gilbert Jr., Brianna, Aliyah, Jayla, Randy II, Josh, Daniella, Jessica, Jaxson, Parker, Mason, Angelica, Chevelyn and Jayce; sisters, Billie Farrar, Rue Weaver, and Esta Graff; and brothers, Bobby, Tony and Mac Brickey.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
