Carl Ford

CARL REX FORD (89) was born January 13, 1933 at Rosston, Cook County, Texas. He was one of 11 children born to Archie Ford and Annie Mae Bewley. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 16, 2022.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, LORA DELL, after an amazing fifty-six years together. He leaves behind 3 wonderful children, REX FORD, DON FORD, and wife ALICE, CARLYN MEYER and husband, JIMMY, 2 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, and many great grandchildren, and 2 very special nieces, RHONDA HOPKINS and THERESE JORDAN and husband JEFF. He is also survived by his sister VERA HOLLEY.

Carl retired from Miller Brewing Company, Fort Worth, Texas in 1998 after twenty-five years of service.

Carl loved the outdoors, horses, and cattle. He participated in rodeo events throughout the Central Texas area for many years receiving numerous awards and championship titles, belts, and saddles.

He was also a very talented welder and produced wonderful pieces of western décor.

A service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:30-1:00 pm just prior to the service.
