Mrs. Carolyn Ann Reed

Carolyn Ann Reed, 68, of Kennedale, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012. Carolyn was born to O.B. and Edna Davis in Harris County, TX on February 26, 1944. Carolyn met and married her husband Ott Morton and shared 25 years of wedded bliss, then sharing eight years with second husband Robert Reed. Carolyn worked as a domestic engineer keeping her home full of love and joy. She would also take children who needed babysitters and watch them at no charge to be helpful. Her love for everything at home blossomed into a wonderful place to visit and always full of laughter. She will be remembered as loving and gentle, and kind.

Cheek and wife Tammy of Kennedale; daughter Lashonda Morton Baker and husband Jarrett of Keene; stepson, William Reed of Cleburne; stepdaughter, Ashley Reed of Fort Worth; grandchildren, James Scott Peterson, Taylor Rios, Calli Farrington, Jerrin Pabalate, Maranda Pabalate; sisters, Edna Brown of Coppell, Martha Smith of Arlington, Judy Davis of Fort Worth; brothers, OBC Davis of Paris, Herbert Davis and wife Linda of Kennedale; several nieces and nephews, many friends and loved ones.
