Charles Edward Kiser was born on May 14, 1940 in Sherman, Texas to Asa Leo Kiser and Beatrice Smith Kiser. Growing up in Dallas, as one of eleven children, he enjoyed his daily adventures with his brothers and sisters. Early in Charles’ life, he showed strong work ethic and family dedication, starting with his first job as an usher at the Forest Theater. Charles proudly served four years in the United States Air Force.
Bette and Charles were married in 1965 and enjoyed 55 years together. They loved living in Atlanta, Georgia for 8 years, which has always held a special place in his heart, followed by 35 years in Arlington, Texas. Charles retired from the Army Air Force Exchange in Dallas, Texas. The joys of his life were cars, sports, his chihuahua Sophie and most of all, his daughters and grandbabies. Charles’ dry sense of humor and perfectly timed wit leaves a lifetime of memories for his loved ones to cherish.
Charles was preceded in death by his daughters Traci Gayle Kiser and Baby Kiser, his parents Asa Leo and Beatrice Kiser, his parents-in-law Lt. Col. Robert O. and Minnie Brown, Siblings: A.L. Jr, Bettye, Johnny, Shirley and Sandra.
Charles is survived by his wife Bette, daughters Ginger, Krisi, and Kayla, son-in-laws Nathan and Mitch, grandchildren Charlie, Pearl, Merritt and Haven, brothers Phil, Ted, and Henry, sisters Linda and Janet, nephews, nieces and other loved relatives.
