Charles Dale Reusnow

Charles (Chuck) Dale Reusnow, 76, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Mansfield Methodist Hospital, in Mansfield, Texas. Chuck was born on September 5, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, to Charles Albert and Betty Jane Jacobsma Reusnow.

Chuck grew up in Chicago, Illinois. After high school he attended the University of Illinois where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1969.

He worked for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control for 37 years. He retired in 2017.

He was involved in First Methodist Church, Mansfield for many years, including 18 years as a Sunday School Teacher. He was also involved in Operation Good Turn at Lockheed Martin.

Chuck married Rebecca (Becky) Wine Strabel on July 12^th, 1974,  in Akron, Ohio. They were happily married for 49 years. Chuck enjoyed traveling, motorcycle riding, and loved to learn new scientific facts in a wide range of subjects. He also received many awards over the years.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Reusnow.

Chuck is survived by his spouse Becky of Mansfield, Texas; his children Chuck W. (Sandy) Reusnow of St Charles, MO; Carey (Cary) Morgan of Arlington, TX; and Greg (Sheryl) Strabel of Arlington, TX; his brother Dan (Kay) Reusnow of Oak Forest, IL; grandchildren Charles Justin (Brianna) Reusnow, Jessica Reusnow, Seth Morgan, Ethan Morgan, Victoria Strabel and Derik Strabel; great-grandchildren Jameson Charles Reusnow, Weston Reusnow and Jace Roberts; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside will be held at Emerald Hills Memorial Park 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, Tx 76060 on Friday September 1, 2023, at 12:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Meals on Wheels.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Mansfield Methodist Hospital (especially the ICU nurses and doctors) and First Methodist Church, Mansfield.
