Charles "Chuck" Salter

JOSHUA -- Charles Robert Salter, 74, of Joshua passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2015 due to cardiac arrest.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, August 29 at the Church of Christ Activity Center in Godley, the family requests casual attire.
Chuck was born on June 27, 1941 in New Jersey. He married Nancy "Jane" Salter on January 19, 1963. They soon after moved to Fort Worth where they resided for many years.
He was an employee with TCU for 35 years. When he wasn't at work or mowing the yard he enjoyed spending his time fishing with numerous people including friends, nephews, grandchildren, and on occasion, his wife. He will be remembered and loved by family and friends for many years to come.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Janet Salter and sister, Evelyn Hislip.
Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Nancy Salter of Joshua; son, Robert Salter and wife Nina of Joshua; daughters, Sandie Jones and husband Kenneth of Powell, Cindi Pustejovsky and husband Randy of Crowley, Wendy Huffman and husband Bradley of Jacksonville; grandson, Michael Salter and wife Raelynn of Joshua; sisters, Carol Persinger of Martinez, GA, Mary Stevens of Long Branch, NJ and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
