Mr Charlie Vickers, Jr.

FT. WORTH -- Mr Charlie Vickers Jr. Passed away January 6,2008 at his home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday 11am at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel with Burial: at DFW National Cemetery lane"B" at 1:30PM, Visitation: Tuesday 6-8pm. Charlie was born in Ft. Worth on July 20,1930 to Susan and Charlie Vickers Sr. He served in the United States Air Force as a Radio Operator. His family would like to thank the nurses and staff of VITAS Innovative Hospice Care for their loving care of Charlie in his final days. He was preceded in death by his parents Susan and Charlie Vickers SR., step-mother Lucille Vickers and sister Kate Davidson. He is survived by his loving wife Louise Marie Vickers of Ft. Worth, children; Charlie and Paula Vickers III of Mansfield, Sandra and Jim Rex of CA,Tonya Vickers of Ok,Pam and Frank Sanchez of Garland, Larry Vickers of Ft.Worth and Lucy and Paul Snodgrass of OK,stepchildren, Ricky Gordon, Eddie Kennemer, Karen and Richard Jenkins,and Debra Johnson; 13 grandchildren,3 great-grandchildren,9 step grandchildren,6 step great-grandchildren,Sisters: Peggy Tepe and Vera Jean Bowers, brother AJ Vickers,several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
