KENNNEDALE -- Charlotte Dawn McClendon, 66, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

We have lost the Matriarch of our family. The strength, soul, and breath for all of us. Charlotte cherished family traditions, holidays, and a good party. She touched everyone she met, leaving her love for life stamped permanently in their hearts. An amazing person, who felt so importantly to show how she loved and shared love with everyone. Charlotte loved to refurbish antique furniture, fish, and travel. Her granddaughters were the love of Nana's life, and she loved every minute of the time she spent together with Popsey and the girls.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark; sisters; Diane; Debbie and husband, Bill; brother; Darryl; daughter; Dawn Fratangelo and husband, Matthew; granddaughters; Lily and Ryan; nieces and nephews; Pat; Becky and husband, Tony; Denise and husband, Brian; Keri and husband, Bryan; Britt and wife, Hollie; Garrett and wife, Michelle.
