Cheryl Ellen Moyer, a dedicated nurse and beloved family member, passed away on February 4, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. She was born on August 14, 1947, in Los Angeles, California. Cheryl's commitment to caring for others was evident throughout her 42-year nursing career, which included her time at Medical Plaza Hospital and in the Office of Dr. David Lee in Fort Worth, Texas.
Cheryl attended TC J.C., where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse. Over the years, she demonstrated a loving and caring nature that touched the lives of countless individuals, both in her professional life and personal interactions. Her dedication to her patients and her art of nursing were a source of inspiration to many.
A passionate individual outside of her work, Cheryl enjoyed sewing, making mum's, and spending treasured moments with her family. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to create lasting memories.
Cheryl is survived by her devoted spouse of 46 years, Michael, of Vidor, Texas. She is also lovingly remembered by her children, Machelle (David) of Vidor, Texas, and her cherished grandchildren: Terry London, Kirsten Aparico, Chelsea Barnes, Katey Creswell, Brandon Creswell, Patrick McDowell, and Bryson Creswell. Additionally, she took great pride in being a great-grandmother to eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyce Nance and Louise Hall, her brother, Noris Nance, and her son, Darren Creswell. Cheryl's absence will be profoundly felt among her family and friends, who will carry on her legacy of love and compassion.
A graveside service to honor Cheryl will be held on February 7, 2025, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Kennedale, Texas, beginning at 3:00 PM, with the service concluding at 3:30 PM. Cheryl's life, marked by her kindness and dedication, will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
