HILLSBORO -- Christopher Lee Gault, 22, of Hillsboro passed away Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Waco.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Chris, a Corpsman and "Devil Doc" in the U.S. Navy, was born Sept. 15, 1986, in Arlington. He was a 2005 graduate of Hillsboro High School and was a student at McLennan Community College in Waco. Chris and his older brother, Jimmy, were more than brothers; they were best friends and shared a special bond beyond kinship. Chris was the "master" of persuasion and a friend to everyone he met.
He loved hunting, fishing, skateboarding, water sports and all outdoor activities, especially enjoying these with his dad and brother. He was an awesome pool player and never backed down from a challenge. He will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors: Parents, Jimmy and Norma Gault of Hillsboro; best friend and brother, Jimmy Gault of Tulsa, Okla.; grandmothers, Katherine Chitwood of Joshua and Bonnie Gault of Florida; aunts, Beverly Shirley and husband, Larry, of Joshua, Rosie Jaquess and husband, Bob, of Joshua, Mary Chitwood and husband, Randy, of Joshua, Sherry Kincaid and husband, Perry, of Florida, Debbie Hubbard of North Carolina and Gloria Jackson and husband, Terry, of Alvord; uncle, Luke Turcott and wife, Terri, of Florida; numerous cousins; and a host of friends, including his special friends, Justin, Tim, Mike and Monty.
