Clarence Edgar Waldrop 92, of Kennedale Texas passed on to his heavenly home on March 18, 2022. Clarence was born on January 29, 1930 to Elbert and Opal Waldrop of Springfield Arkansas. He attended Boyd High School and served briefly in the Army National Guard.
He was married to Joyce Ann Knotts on June 28, 1951 at First Baptist Church Kennedale. They were married 70 years and had three children.
Clarence was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved fishing and camping with family. Coaching Little League Baseball with all the Kennedale students and his two sons. He loved serving his community and church. Playing country music on his hand-built mandolin with his band The Country Ramblers. Woodworking and keeping his yard beautiful was his passion.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Waldrop, his eldest son Eddie Waldrop, and his brother Lee Alan Waldrop his only sibling.
Clarence was blessed with a large family. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Diana Burns and husband Larry of Crowley, son Rennie Waldrop and wife Brenda of Graham, daughter in law Maryjane Waldrop of Kennedale; six grandchildren, Tina Earle and husband Richard, Angie Manning, Jennifer Koerner, Cole Burns, Kyle Waldrop and wife Jacklyn, Colby Waldrop and wife Jessica; nine great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends.
