Curtis L. Thompson
4/9/1938 – 3/9/2021
Born in Egan, Texas to Woodrow Curtis Thompson and Myrtle Marie Pfaff.
He loved his family, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed coaching his daughters and lots of other’s daughter’s softball teams over many years. He was an active member of Waples United Methodist Church (Granbury, TX) as well as his community.
He’s preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Johnny Thompson and Albert Thompson, and his grandson, Jeremy Mitchell.
Survived by his wife of almost 64 years; daughters, Vickie T. Mitchell and husband John, Donna T. Wright and husband Scotty, and Sandi T. McCollum and husband Ken; sisters, Billye and Darlene; grandchildren, Jeff, Philip, Jenni, Justin, Allegra, Anna, Tim, Ryan and Ashley; six great-grandchildren as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service for Curtis will be Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2PM at First Baptist Church in Kennedale, Texas. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM at First Baptist Church in Kennedale, Texas.
