Dale Carlton James, 81, passed away peacefully on the 30th day of August 2022 at his home in Arlington, TX. He was born on November 14,1940 in Horatio, AR to Gerald and Pearlene Greene James
Dale grew up in Horatio, AR. and graduated from Horatio High School in 1958. After high school he
joined the Air Force and later attended Grayson College in Sherman, TX
Dale married Linda Burris in 1970 in Broken Bow, OK. They were happily married for 52 years. Dale was a member of First Baptist Church Kennedale. He enjoyed serving as a deacon and teaching his Sunday School Class as well as fishing and smoking briskets any chance he could get.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Pearlene James, his brothers, Ricky and Gary James, and his sister, Bartie James Campbell.
Dale is survived by his spouse, Linda of Arlington, TX; his son, Mark (Crystal) Hutchison of Van Alstyne, TX; son, Michael Hutchison of Euless, TX; son, Joseph (Jennifer) Montieth of Alvin TX; son, Gerald (Jennifer) Montieth of Alvin, TX; daughter, Cindy (Paul) Kirkpatrick of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Samantha, Hunter, Kate, Aiden, Brittan, Ashley, Brian, Chris, Bailey, Wyatt, Iain; great-grandchildren, Karissa, Zachery, Daxton, Nathaniel, Kylie and Layken.
A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Kennedale 309 Kenney St, Kennedale, TX at 11:00am on Friday, September 2, 2022. A visitation will be held at the church at 10am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
