Daniel Martin Ybarra

Daniel Martin Ybarra, 57, passed away on August 03, 2023, at his home in Arlington, Texas. He was born on July 21, 1966 in Sumter, South Carolina, to Daniel and M. Sylvia (Albarado) Ybarra.

Daniel grew up in Columbus, Texas. He got his G.E.D. from Abilene High school in Abilene, Texas in 1985.

After high school he began work for Port Services as a Railcar unloader where he worked for 6 years. He then transferred to Jack Cooper Transport in 1993, where he worked for over 30 years until his time of passing. Daniel was a member at Saint Matthews Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas.

Daniel married Sylvia in 1987 in Abilene, Texas. They were happily married for 36 years. He enjoyed his lowrider cars, music, fishing, car shows, bowling, basketball, drawing, and being involved in his grandchildren's sports. He received awards for drawing and basketball.

Daniel was preceded in death by his dad Daniel, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and nephew.

Daniel is survived by his spouse Sylvia of Arlington, Texas. His sons Marcus and Matias (Cathy) Ybarra of Arlington, Texas. His brothers Adam and Joseph and sister Andrea Ybarra Trevino of Abilene, Texas. Grandchildren Ayden and Brianna Ybarra; nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, Tx 76060 on Wednesday August 23, 2023, from 6pm-8pm. The Rosary will begin at 6:30pm.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd Arlington Texas 76017 on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 10:30am. Funeral procession will follow after the mass.
