David Schembera

David James Schembera, of Arlington, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018.  He was born on November 12, 1944 in Webb City, Missouri to James Ignatz Schembera and Iva Rene (Foxworthy) Schembera.  David was married to Betty (Wuthrich) Schembera for 53 years.  He held a master’s degree, was a missionary with the World Baptist Fellowship, and was a member of the Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin James Schembera; and daughter, Kristine Renee Schembera.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Betty Schembera; son, Brian Schembera and wife Darla; grandchildren, Cristina Nolte and husband Isaac, Megan Schembera, Dillon Schembera, Shane Schembera; great grandchild, Veronica Nolte; sister, Helen Clevenger; and extended family members.

Funeral service for David will be Monday, November 26, 2018 at 12:00PM at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington with interment to follow at 2:30PM at the DFW National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3:00-5:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
