Mr. David Scott Lamphere

David Scott Lamphere, born November 14, 1954 to Robert and Charlotte Lamphere in Lawton, Oklahoma departed this life on December 30, 2012 at the age of 58. Mr. Lamphere was a devoted Los Angeles Dodgers follower; he has been a faithful fan for many years. Aside from watching baseball he enjoyed playing golf. His daughter remembers him as a hardworking, kind man, and attentive father. David enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. For the first twenty one years of his career, David worked for the Dallas Times Herald until the paper ceased publication in 1991. The last ten years he devoted his career as a press operator to the Fort Worth Star Telegram in Fort Worth. David is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Lamphere. Those left to remember him include: daughter, Jamie Lamphere; brother, Mark Lamphere; niece, Laura Hogue; nephew, Brian Lamphere; and his grandson and always faithful chihuahua Brody.
