ARLINGTON -- Davie Jean Hightower, 83, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Davie Jean Hightower was born July 8, 1923, in Wade, Okla. She was united in marriage with Carlton Hightower on May 17, 1997.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of Mid-Cities Baptist Church in Haltom City.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Riddle, and her grandson, William Harvey.
Survivors: Loving and devoted husband of nine years, Carlton Hightower; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and David Jones of Norman, Okla.; daughter, Diana Jutson of Arlington; grandchildren, Bryan Jones, Melissa Roberson, Joshua Jutson, Jamie Jutson and Christopher Riddle; and great-grandchildren, Haley Harvey, Baylee Jones and Shelby Jones; and stepchildren, Lynn Hightower and wife, Susie, Tom Hightower and wife, Sandra, and Susie Long and husband, W.C.
