Debra Newman

Debra Jane Newman, 67, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on March 24, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas to Roy and Marguerite King.

Debra grew up in Kennedale, TX. She graduated from Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas in 1973. Debra was a member of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. She enjoyed playing the piano, participating in the church choir, traveling, baking, cooking and spending time with her family. She also received many awards for her work as an investigator for the US Government.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Marguerite King, brother Charles Jeff King and sister Patsy Michell.

Debra is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Archibald and husband Joel Archibald, of Saginaw, Texas; grandchildren, Charlotte Archibald, Scott Archibald and Marshall Archibald; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 11am Tuesday, August 9th. A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home (500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060) from 7pm to 8pm Monday, August 8, 2022.
