Dixie Mae Moore, 87, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at a local hospice house.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Dixie was born May 26, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents, Flora and Forest Miller; her husband, James Moore; and a grandson, Scott Thomas.
Survivors: Daughters, Carol Owen and husband, Howard, of Lone Camp, Brenda McMahan and husband, Jerry, of Chandler and Patsy McKay of Lake Tahoe; great friend, Greg Jepson; grandchildren, Lowell Thomas and wife, Carol, Shanna Acuff and husband, Kurt, Mendy Sinsley and husband, Moe, and Brandi McKay; great-grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Marin Sinsley, Marty Jones, Kody Acuff, Klancey Acuff and Justin and Siranda Thomas; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Miller; also numerous nieces and nephews.
