Dominic John DiSanto, 53, passed away on May 1ST 2023, at home in Arlington, Texas, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on September 24, 1969, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Anthony and Rose Marie D’Elia DiSanto. Dom moved to Arlington, Texas, with family in 1976. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas, in 1988. After high school, he worked a variety of jobs including managing a bookstore, catering, and retail. Early in his life, he discovered his passion for reading with a favoritism to authors such as Oscar Wilde and Jane Austin. However, it was his passion for art which truly brought out his amazing creativity and imagination. His original masterpieces will be treasured.
Dominic was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Rosemarie DiSanto and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Dominic is survived by his sister Rosemarie Savell of Arlington Texas and his sister Vincetta Smith (Steve) of Arlington, Texas; his nephews: Anthony Smith (Atley), Cody Savell (Shelby), and Thomas Disanto (Joei), and great niece (Harper Grace), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and his beloved dog, Penny. He loved you all.
A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublet Road, Kennedale, Texas on Saturday, May 13th, 2023.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Tender Heart Hospice staff and all the nurses and aids who were always there day or night. And to Pastor Ron, who always lifted our spirits and lifted our hearts with prayer and wisdom.
