Donald Karriker

Donald Ray Karriker was born March 30, 1932 in Landis, North Carolina to John Ray Karriker and Elizabeth Ann (Deal) Karriker. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 2, 2018.  Donald retired from the US Air Force for over twenty years.  He served as a Pastor and was a loving husband and father.  Donald was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Karriker Riley; brother and sister in law, Lee and Elizabeth Hoke; son in law, Patrick McGrath; and sister, Audrey who died before he was born.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 68 years Anna Jean Bailey Karriker; son, Kenneth Karrker and wife Kathy; daughters, Deborah Kinney and husband Kirby and Donna Tomasi and husband Gregory; grandchildren, Ryan Tomasi, Justin Tomasi and wife Sarah, Jason Karriker, Andrea Gudbaur and husband Kevin; Colby Tomasi, Brittany McGregor and husband Matt; great grandchildren, Jada Tomasi, Kylie Gudbaur, Noah Gudbaur, Ella Rose Tomasi, and Grayson Gudbaur, and sister Pamela Perry and husband Martin.

Funeral service for Mr. Karriker will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10:30A.M. at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas with Pastor Jimmy McNeil and Bro. Eddie Malphrus officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.  Burial will be Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:30A.M. at DFW National Cemetery.
