Donald G. Simon, 78, the race is run, the battle is over, and the warrior went home to be with his Lord, Wednesday March 17, 2010.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation; 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. Simons was a minister for the Lord for over 40 years. He was a charter member of Rendon Baptist Church. He had a kind and gentle spirit and was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, and three children.
