Mrs. Dorothy Smith

EVERMAN -- Dorothy N. Smith, of Everman, born in October 1936 passed away on October 16, 2013. Dorothy married Donald W Smith in 1951 and shared 53 years until his passing in 2004. Some of her hobbies include dancing, cooking, painting and shopping. After retiring in 2000 from Allen Printing Company after 40 years of service, she passed some of her retirement time with playing slot machines.
Dorothy was preceded in death by two brothers; David and Orville; a grandson, Austin Jarred; and her loving husband, Donald W Smith.
Those left to remember her include: sons, Donald Smith (Cindy), Curtis Smith and wife Gay & Scotty Smith; daughter, Vicki Waters; brothers, Roy Cantrell (Esther), Delbert Cantrell; sister-in-law, Frances Cantrell; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grand children; 1 great great grandchild, numerous extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation is 6-8 pm Friday October 18, and funeral service will be 10 am Saturday October 19, 2013 both at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
