Dura Lee Blalock

Dura Lee (Elliott) Blalock, 91, of Kennedale passed away peacefully Saturday, December 7, 2024, in her home surrounded by family.

A Celebration of Dura’s life will be at 11:00am Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. An interment will be immediately following at Granbury Cemetery. A Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

Dura was born on November 17, 1933, in Granbury, Texas to Murray Ragsdale Elliott and Elsie Lee (Cooper) Elliott. She was married 64 Years to William Claude Blalock, who preceded her in death along with their daughter, Paula Jean Blalock. She is also preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Bill and Henry Elliott. 

Dura is survived by her brother; Bobby Elliott (Mary Ann), daughters; Carol Lentz (Wade), Suzann Craig (Gary), and Linda Rhodes (Raymond); Her 9 Grand Children and their spouses; 29 Great Grand Children and their spouses; and 14 Great-Great Grand Children.
