Dura West

Dura Lael West, 82, passed away on August 22, 2020 at her daughters home in Arlington, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 18, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to A. W. and Delma Carter Teel.

Dura grew up in Waxahachie, Texas.  She loved God and her family.  She was active in her church and loved teaching people about the bible.  She loved gardening, cooking and canning.  I have no doubt she is sipping on a Dr. Pepper right at this minute.

Dura West is survived by her daughter Terri Dahlin of Arlington, Texas; son Mike (Karla) Paurus of Burlington, North Dakota; son Randy (Jessica) West of Levelland, Texas; son Kevin (Windy) West of Gordonville, Texas; sister Rebecca Rawls of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Jenny Eggen, Devin (Casey) Steward, Randall West, Cassidee West, Kayley Dahlin, Kara West; great grandchildren Kolten Steward, Casin Steward, Anastyn Steward.

A graveside service will be held at DFW National Cemetery at 9:30am, August 28, 2020.
