FORT WORTH -- E. Pearl Grimes, 89, was welcomed home by her blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
She was born Nov. 17, 1919, to John and Mary McKeen in Blue Mountain, Arkansas. She had a rocky road to glory, but it was very fulfilling. She will be remembered as a treasured and loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took great pride in being a Christian. She cherished the time she had with her family.
Survivors: She was blessed with her children, James and Laura Parker, Paula Yohner, John and Dana Florence and Wesley and Jean Florence; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Helen Ferrell and Bertha Reed; brother, John McKeen; and a host of other family and friends.
