Earnestine Gayler, 91, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home in Dayton, Texas. She was born on September 23, 1927 in Lampassas, Texas to Gaither and Nettie Patterson.
Earnestine grew up in Lampassas, Texas. She served her community for thirty-five years as a nurse. She faced much adversity throughout her life but never gave up and always trusted in God to provide and care for her and her family. She was a woman of great faith.
Earnestine was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D Harcrow; husband, Norton Gayler; parents, Gaither and Hattie Jeanette (Nettie) Patterson; grandchildren, Amanda Shae Harcrow and Molly Renee Harcrow; siblings, Gaither Patterson, Luella (Peggy) Beasley, M.C. Patterson, Anne Chaney, Sue Bodenhamer; twin brother Billy Gene Patterson; and two brothers that died as children.
Those left to cherish her memories are, son, William (Billy) Kirchman and wife Juanita; daughter, Jacquelyn Holladay and husband Steven; son, Jerry Harcrow and wife Nicole; grandchildren, Misty Paul, Katie Brewster and husband Josh, Sarah Lee and husband Travis, Arabella Conner, Jordan Fitzpatrick; great grandchildren, Jackson Brewster and Holladay Rose Lee.
