He loved to go camping and fishing with his grandchildren, family and many friends. He was a real “people person” who never met a stranger. His home and heart were always open. He was a gifted carpenter who achieved success because he lived well, laughed often and loved much. He was the glue that held this large family together.
He was preceded in death by his children; Wayne Edward Turner and Molly Faith Godwin.
Survivors: His wife of 49 years, Mary Turner; daughters, Delinda Peterson (Walter), Melissa Kirk ( Larry), Carmen Raines (Dennis), Lynn Hanna (Kevin), and Becky Turner; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Turner; sister, Judy Steinke; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He was Papa to all.
