Signe Brooks Edwards, born August 19, 1945 to Loren and Mary Ruth Hammack in San Antonio, passed away on Sunday June 9, 2013 in Arlington at the age of 67. Signe graduated from Westbury High School in Houston. Signe worked for Alcon Laboratories as well as Lockheed prior to retiring and enjoying life as a homemaker. Signe was a longtime resident of Kennedale. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and skeet shooting and riding her horses. Signe spent a lot of time doting on her companions who shared her home a dog- Ellie and cat- Boomer.
Signe is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister.
Those left to cherish her memory include: daughter, Kelly (Edwards) Phillips and husband Jonathan; cousins, John and Marilyn Rockafellow, Juliette and Sheral Rainbolt, other extended family and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
