Elaine Brower

Elaine Suzanne Brower, 81, passed away on August 19, 2021 in Mansfield, Texas. She was born on October 23, 1939 in Newark, New Jersey to Joseph and Clara Saunders.

Elaine grew up in Newark and graduated from Weequahic High School in 1957. In 1959 she married Robert Alan Brower in West Orange, NJ. They were happily married for 55 years.

She enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, and spending time with friends and family.

Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, who passed away in 2012.

Elaine is survived by her daughters, Fran Bean and Mindy Kuykendall; son-in-laws Kenneth and Steve; her grandchildren Erin, Jesse, Justin, Ryan, and Matthew; her sister Roberta Gutkind; and other relatives.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Elaine’s caretakers and support staff as well as the staff of Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
