Miss Elaine Powell

. Brittney Elaine Powell, born November 14, 1981 in Fort Worth, to Randy Powell and Beverly Lewis, passed away on April 26, 2013. Brittney was a bundle of energy who loved life and loved people. She packed a lot of living in her 31 short years of life. She always had a smile and never met a stranger. She was a compassionate young woman, always ready to lend a hand to help others. She enjoyed hanging with her eclectic group of friends and especially loved spending time with her children. Each day of her life was filled with activity, laughter and love. She attended Crowley High School with the class of 2000.
She is preceded in death by her sister Leslie Powell and by her grandparents, Margaret & Dewitt Powell, and Faye & Gene Coonrod, Jean & Tom Lewis, cousins Angel and Albert Crites, and twins Nathan and Nicholas Crites.
Survivors include mother, Beverly & Paul Lewis; father Randy M. Powell and wife Pat; son, Ehren Lewis; daughter, Hailey Lewis; sisters, Ashley Powell, Vanessa Whiddon and Nickie Wilhite, cuz and best friend Kyle Coonrod, numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
