Emory Hill

Emory Marlin Hill, 87, passed away on April 3, 2022 at his home, in Forest Hill, Texas. He was born on December 22, 1935 in Brock, Texas.  Emory grew up in Brock, Texas.

Emory began working for Southwestern Bell as a Lineman.  He retired in 1997 after 42 years of service.

Emory married Willie Mae in 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas. They were happily married for many years. He enjoyed watching all sports and keeping stats for baseball.

Emory was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae, siblings and parents.

Emory is survived by his sons, Mike Hill and wife Sheila of Crowley, Texas and Alan Hill and wife Penny of Forest Hill; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great- great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be greeting friends and relatives on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 6pm to 8pm at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublet Road, Kennedale, TX 76060. Graveside burial will be Friday, April 8, 2022 at 2pm.
