Ernest Wayne Thomas was born March 1, 1935 in Justin, TX to Clurman Frank Thomas and Willie Mae West Thomas. He passed peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2017. He is the proud retired owner of the Hitching Post Pawn Shop and Bail Bonds on Wilbarger St. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jack Thomas; brother, Charles Thomas; sisters, Patricia Davis and Dolores Randall.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving Wife, JoAnn Thomas; daughters, Debra Cooper (Ronny) and Tonya Kaura (Richard); sisters, Brenda Mahan (Rick) and Kay Furniss (Ed); grandchildren, Keely Lloyd (Kenneth), Kelly Thomas, Ernest Thomas II; great-grandsons, Kadin Lloyd and Kash Lloyd.
